DMSF offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree which is equivalent to MBBS in India. The degree is recognized by NMC (National Medical Commission) and other international certification councils.
4. How is MD different from MBBS?
The MD (Doctor of Medicine) offered in the Philippines follows the American system of education and is equivalent to the MBBS degree offered in India. Both degrees qualify graduates to practice medicine after clearing the respective licensing examinations.
5. What is the total duration of the course?
The total course duration is 6 ½ years (Pre-Med Course + 4 ½ years MD + 1 year internship as per the NMC guidelines).
6. What is the eligibility for admission?
12th standard or equivalent qualification with an aggregate score of 50% in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. NEET qualification is also required for Indian students.
7. Can I complete my internship in India?
Yes, after completing the MD program, students can complete their internship in India as per the NMC guidelines after clearing the FMGE examination.
8. Can I practice in India on my return? Can I pursue my specialization in India after my graduation?
Yes, after clearing the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates Examination) conducted by the National Board of Examinations, graduates can practice medicine in India and also pursue post-graduate specialization.
9. Are there any extra fees for FMGE?
DMSF provides integrated FMGE coaching as part of the curriculum. There are no additional fees for the basic FMGE preparation provided by the college.
10. How can I prepare for my Screening Test?
DMSF provides dedicated FMGE preparation coaching integrated into the curriculum with regular mock tests, practice examinations, and expert guidance from experienced faculty.
11. Can I get a job in the Government hospitals or allied Medical Institutions in India?
Yes, after clearing the FMGE and completing your internship, you are eligible to apply for positions in Government hospitals and allied medical institutions in India, just like any other MBBS graduate.
12. Can a student avail educational loan? If yes, what are the procedures?
Yes, students can avail educational loans from various banks. DMSF assists students with the necessary documentation and procedures required for bank loan applications.
13. Can a student take USMLE?
Yes, DMSF graduates are eligible to take the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) as the college is recognized by ECFMG. Many DMSF alumni have successfully cleared the USMLE.

21. Do I have to give any entrance exams before enrolling for the MD Program?
Indian students need to qualify NEET. Additionally, the NMAT (National Medical Admission Test) of the Philippines is required, for which DMSF provides guidance and support.

Yes, DMSF provides preparatory materials and guidance to help students prepare for the NMAT examination.
23. My English is not fluent. How will I be able to cope in an English speaking country?
